Tweetup in Bangalore
on July 30th, 2009 4 “Don’t talk to strangers” a statement that was drilled into our heads all our growing up years. Years have passed by and this statement has become obsolete in the age of Social Media. Twitter, one of the most talked about Social Media Sites has made us even more social than we had ever imagined. I had never thought that I would be connected to hundreds of people i have never met.
We are more open than ever to meet new people, converse and network. What about the faces behind those tweets though?
When one of my Twitter friends @bhavis (Bhavya) mentioned about a tweetup in Bangalore, I was more than delighted. We tweeted about it and got a good response. So finally we are having Tweetup in Bangalore on 8th of August. The venue is left open and would be decided on the basis of the number of people joining us.
