Mashable Down : Fresh Attack on Social Media?

Mashable.com, the World’s No 1 Social Media Blog and No 2 in Technology after TechCrunch.com is down now. It could be a possible hacking, or a internal server error.

Reasons are unknown but here is what it shows while trying to visit the site.

Update: Mashable.com is up and functioning now. They are yet to say anything on the disruption of service.

Mashable seems to be facing some serious issues. While the service is available on and off, the error I just got was “Error establishing a database connection”.

I think what happened is that too many people tried to go to mashable.com at once.. If im not wrong simply due to the fact they put the word whore in one of their titles.. lol.. Nah i don’t know, but i still can’t go into mashable.com
