Two more days to officially launch Windows 7, it is found that we can expect Windows 8 which follows 128 bit architecture by 2012. On the Linkedin Profile of Robert Morgan, Microsoft’s Senior Research & Development, were some interesting information related to Windows 8.

As we can see from the image below,he mentioned in his Linked in profile as “R&D projects including 128 bit architecture compatibility with the windows 8 kernel and windows 9 project plan”. If its true, then windows 8 will  have 128 bit architecture.

win8

This can be true because in April on a Microsoft Blog was posted a notice in which they were in search for a Software Engineer, capable of working in projects like Windows 7, in domains like clusters support, reconstruction and improvement of the kernel of Windows 8.According to Microsoft,it plan to release a new desktop version of Windows every three years, which is yet another point to be noticed.

Again a surprise by Microsoft, but  to prove , only time can do !
