Google Chrome Ads now even in Paris Metros and Railway Stations

Google’s Campaign to market Chrome in Europe is taking an aggressive mood. Paris underground Metro stations (which are lifeline for transport in Paris) can be seen flooded with Google Chrome Ads. As the French internet browser market is mainly dominated by Microsoft’s Internet Explorer and Mozilla being its nearest competitor. To counter this recently Google has launched a nation wide ad campaign to popularize Chrome in France.

While travelling, one can easily find Google Chrome ads monopolizing the entire Metro Station! The pic below is taken in one of the most busiest metro stations “Châtelet”. With no space left for any other brands, this is a perfect example of  Google Monopoly and Capitalism.

Its for the first time that Google has been marketing any of  its products in public places like Metro and Railway stations. Each Ad explains all the features that the browser has and how is it better than its previous versions and its counterparts. Initially I was surprised to see Google occupying the boards meant to have Ads for Wines, Clothings and Consumer Appliances.

Google Monopoly?

Maybe in search and advertising, but certainly not in browsers.
