RIM Unveils Projector Display for Blackberry

One of the biggest challenge for mobile device is its size. How much to fit inside 5 * 2.5 inch device? This size have given designer the greatest challenge and at the same time opportunity to be creative. Research in Motion have now broken those barrier’s by creating a 3.4 * 2.4 * 0.9 inch device that can be used as a projector to display your slide show or even movie. Blackberry is not the only one, previously LG exhibited its LG Expo projector phone.

The project will allow you to give your presentation and is compatible with the slide animations and transitions from Microsoft® PowerPoint® 2003 and 2007. The bluetooth has a range of up to 10 m. Regarding video display its compatible with multiple video formats: Travel overseas or at home and present in NTSC (National Television Standards Committee) and PAL (Phase Alternating Line) formats.

The price is listed at around $199.99. RIM but the release date has not been announced yet. Looking at the functionality and size of the device, it surely will be solving a lot of problems for professionals who frequently have to move around to give presentation. 111
