Biz Stone Talks about Twitter Developing Ads Beyond Search [Video]

Twitter co-founder Biz Stone talks about to be launched Ad platform for Twitter. He is confident that people will love seeing interesting ads amid the rest of the chatter on Twitter.

He takes a cautious middle path and he says the team is taking its time testing the ads, dubbed “promoted tweets.”

Twitter is testing the in-stream tweet ad for search results first, and is planning to move into mainstream tweet ads eventually. There are services like Adly and SponsoredTweets currently who enable corporates give ad as Tweets. Twitter’s platform is believed to be a superset of these services.
