Watch Facebook CEO talk about the Facebook movie, ownership lawsuit and more
“You don’t get to 500 million friends…without making a few enemies”, as appeared on the trailer of Facebook movie “The Social Network” makes a lot of sense when the company has been going through a chain of controversies one after the other. The privacy fiasco had not got over and Facebook now is facing a lawsuit for 80% ownership. Its not that we are looking to find faults with Facebook or dig what the CEO of the company said in a chat conversation more than six years back, we are so in love with the company that everything about it makes news.
In an interview with Diane Sawyer from ABC World News yesterday Mark talked about Facebook reaching the milestone of 500 users. The modest CEO gave the credit to the user and said
“It’s really the people themselves who have gotten us to this state. I mean, we’ve built a lot of products that we think are good, and will help people share photos and share videos and write messages to each other. But it’s really all about how people are spreadingFacebook around the world in all these different countries. And that’s what’s so amazing about the scale that it’s at today,”
On his thoughts about the upcoming movie on Facebook, he said
“I just think people have a lot of fiction. But, you know, I mean, the real story of Facebook is just that we’ve worked so hard for all this time,” he said. “I mean, the real story is actually probably pretty boring, right? I mean, we just sat at our computers for six years and coded.”
Mark Zuckerberg doesn’t make lot of public appearances so we’d love to take note of the ones he does make.

Did you know this guy went to geek camp with Lady Gaga?
