Friday was a good day for Facebook. After going through the worst problem in four years, the most famous and happening social networking site was finally back in track. The problem that caused the worst Facebook outage in four years has finally been resolved.
Many users had reported problems with the site for the past two days, and others had no access at all. Most New Zealand subscribers were greeted with an “Internal Server Error” when they logged on this morning.
A third-party network provider was blamed to cause the worst outage for the social networking site. Today’s problems were put down to a change Facebook made to one of its systems. Facebook used Twitter to keep its 500 million users updated.
One tweet said: “Facebook may be slow or unavailable for some people because of site issues. We’re working to fix this quickly.”
Procrastinators and online addicts were relieved when the site announced via twitter again that: “We’ve resolved the tech issues that caused the site to be unavailable for some people. Everyone should now have access.”
