Amazon to launch Kindle Application on Tuesday
Google had launched the much awaited E-Book Store yesterday and Amazon is preparing to unveil new version of Kindle for the Web on Tuesday. The Demo is one day after Google announces eBooks; Battle shapes up between two Internet giants.
Amazon is all set to compete. After the successful launch of single-purpose hardware and a slew of free apps for mobile and PC devices here’s a new new web app version of Kindle.

This new application will enable the users to read full books in the browser and permit any website to become a book store that offers kindle books. An Amazon spokeswoman said via an e-mail to Computerworld late Monday. This is similar to what Google E-Book store will facilitate. The first version of the Kindle did not gain much success as it only allowed the users to read the first chapter previews of the books online.
Kindle family is growing at very good pace compared to any other competitor. In 2009, the iPhone and Ipod touch was introduced. This was one of the hardware that had had the functionality of a different hardware with the help of another software.
Applications for iPad and Android were added by Amazon this year. We also experienced the Kindle desktop applications for PC and Mac. Of recent times, the Kindle hardware is one of the fastest selling devices among any of the other Kindle versions.
