Google finally brings Games to its Social Network Google+

Google has finally launched the most-awaited games on its Google+ platform. The feature will be available to everyone on Google+ soon.

“Today we’re adding games to Google+. With the Google+ project, we want to bring the nuance and richness of real-life sharing to the web. But sharing is about more than just conversations. The experiences we have together are just as important to our relationships. We want to make playing games online just as fun, and just as meaningful, as playing in real life”, Google stated on its blog.

Google+will have a tab for Games similar to those you can see for circles, photos, videos etc. Games in Google+ will be there only when you want them.  So, you won’t find them spamming your news streams with updates and invitations like on Facebook.

When you’re ready to play, just click the games button at the top of your stream. You can then see the latest game updates from your circles, browse the invites you’ve received and check out games that people in your network have played recently. You can also find your games score and share it with your circles. They will see your updates and invitations only when they are playing games.

Initially you can find the following games on Google+. But, soon there will be many more added to the list.

If you’re a developer interested in building games for Google+, you can check out Google+ developer blog for more info.
