GREE teams up with Social Network Mig33 to launch a Developer Program for Mobile Game Developers
Japan’s largest mobile gaming company GREE has partnered with Singapore-born and US-based social network, Mig33, to launch a developer program, that allows mobile game developers to make revenue by developing games on the Mig33 platform, says a recent report from Asiajin.
The mig33 platform gives developers an ability to easily develop social applications that are integrated into the mig33 experience. They can build, launch, reach and earn through the mig33 platform and deliver engaging apps to the tens of millions of mig33 users in over 200 countries across the world. The platform’s Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) also provides developers with the info on application’s users and social graph, lets them inform their users and their friends of in-application events and collect migCredits for the purchases of in-game content.
Attending the program could give developers a chance to market their apps to more than 50 million users in the region, and the popular apps on the platform would be available on GREE’s Japanese mobile users too. As of now, 12 developers from 7 countries have been participating in the program, and this means developers from Japan and from several foreign countries will come together and compete with each other to develop some of the best apps.
