Teens today are completely hooked to the internet and the social networking sites. A whopping 76% of teens in the age group of 12-17 years are actively using social media platforms. They are engaged in different activities such as posting status updates, playing games, commenting on their friend’s posts, chatting, including few acts of cruelty such as bullying their peers online.

This new infographic from Zone Alarm, created based on research by Pew Research Center, gives insight into the behavior of teens on social media sites.  According to the infographic, over 88% of teens say that they have met someone who’s been cruel on social media. Surprisingly, teenage girls are more unkind to their peers than their male counterparts. Check out this infographic for complete details of the research.
