Those using Google Docs on their Android phones can now be more productive and have a more collaborative experience.

Search giant Google has released a new update to the Google Docs app for Android, bringing the collaboration feature available on the desktop app to the app on the Android device. You’ll now be able to see updates in real time as others type on the shared documents using their computers, tablets and phones.

The app interface has also been updated to make it easier to work with the documents on the go. For example, you can now zoom in and focus on a specific paragraph or see the whole document at a glance. Google also added formatting for rich text, which will let users create bullet lists on the fly and bring bold face type or color to documents.
