Turn Your Facebook Brand Page Timeline Into A Movie
Brands that own a page on Facebook have reasons to smile. Thanks to an app, the Facebook Brand page managers will get a chance to create a movie using photos, updates and videos from their Timeline. This feature was launched earlier this year for general users.
The app called Timeline Movie Maker made by marketing agency Definition 6, in collaboration with Facebook enables brands to take a ride through nostalgia on their Timeline. Users will be able to customize the movie, choosing from a plethora of music and replacing any visual element. Page admins can also write messages, which will be featured throughout the video.
“Timeline Movie Maker was a great way for people to share the stories of their lives in a creative way,” Paul Hernacki, CTO at Definition 6, told media. “We wanted to bring that experience to brands, further connecting brands with their fans.”
To make a movie, a brand’s Timeline must have a least 50 public photos. For now, the tool allows nine languages in addition to English. They are Italian, Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese, Mandarin, Brazilian, Portuguese, Turkish and Russian. The tool also supports editing texts.
The tool, however, comes with a rider. The videos can only be shared on Facebook.
