The mammoth 17.7 million iPhone shipments are the greatest elements that contributed to this success while Samsung had shipped only 16.8 million.

Apple’s success has been driven by its popular ecosystem of iPhones and App Store, generous carrier subsidies, and extensive marketing around the new iPhone 5 model.”
Apple beats Samsung
Apple iPhone 5S is the device had constituted for the exponential growth of the sales of Apple. Thought Samsung too had anticipated great results with Samsung Galaxy SIII, it could not beat out Apple. Followed by Apple are Samsung and LG in line.
