Navigating through your tweets in Buzzom Desktop.
Posted on August 20th, 2009 4 commentsFirst of all, thanks for using our product and providing thoughtful feedbacks. Buzzom has a unique way of navigating through your tweets, unlike a traditional way Buzzom Desktop provides you to filter your tweets and only view tweets which are relevant to you. Lets take this step by step:

This is your tweet stream channel, you can find that we have given maximum space, giving you enough focus on the tweets. Along with each tweets you have action icons, RT, Direct Message, Reply, Group the User and Hide. Hide is the cool way of temporarily removing unnecessary discussions or tweets from your stream. If you want, you can unhide them by going to the configuration button.
Now lets see what are the buttons on the top bar.

In this bar from the left we have, tweets, Direct message, Replies, My tweets. Then in the right hand side we have, search feature to allow you to digg through your tweets.
Click this to view all the subscribed tweets from others. Any hidden user’s tweets won’t be shown here.
Click this to view your Direct Message. Any hidden user’s DM won’t be visible.
Click this to view replies to you.
Click this to view your own tweets. Now lets go towards the search features:

Here you can type the keywords associated with the type in the combo box and search for relevant Tweets. There are four ways of searching through the tweets:
Content : In this type, you can search tweets containing certain keywords.
Location: In this type, you can view tweets from specific location, which is the one given by the user in their location.
User: In this type, you can search tweets from certain users.
Bio: In this type, you can search tweets with respect to the Bio of the users.
If you have any queries and please send us your comments. We will be featuring more about buzzom desktop and also buzzom web apps in the blog.
